Escalate only when nobody responds.
Critical or warning alerts can move through timed notification routes. Acknowledgement stops the chain, every step is deduplicated, and delivery health is tracked separately from alert creation.
Routes used by an escalation policy become escalation-only routes. They are not used for immediate alert fan-out, preventing duplicate notifications.
Minimum delay is 60 seconds. Steps must use different routes and increasing delays. Acknowledging the alert stops future steps.
